- Summary
- Insufficient grounding of the electrical pump assembly.
- Consequence
- This condition can cause slow operation of the hoist; possible overload of the vehicle's electrical system, and\or cause an electrical short in the power supply.
- Remedy
- Dealers will install a 4 gauge ground wire between the pump housing assembly and the negative battery terminal.
