- The rear bumper bracket welds can crack.
- Consequence
- This cracking could cause a bumper to detach from the chassis increasing the potential for a vehicle accident.
- Remedy
- New brackets made out of 10 gauge material with gussets will be used to replace the defective brackets.
- Notes
- System: structure: bumper assembly. Vehicle description: transit buses equipped with romeo rim bumpers (black rubber bumpers).
