The fasteners securing the compressed natural gas (CNG) roof-mounted fuel tank lids were not properly installed and/or maintained.

Summary: The fasteners securing the compressed natural gas (CNG) roof-mounted fuel tank lids were not properly installed and/or maintained.
Consequence: If the fasteners fail to hold the fuel tank lids properly, the lids would come off during the operation of the vehicle increasing the risk of a vehicle accident.
Remedy: Chance coach is developing a modification kit to enhance the fastening of the roof fuel tank. Until that kit is available, owners should make sure that the fuel tank is securely fastened.
