Summary: Vehicle description: class a motor homes. The intermediate drive shaft installed on these motor homes can fall to the ground.
Consequence: This condition creates a potential loss of vehicle control and/or a road obstruction.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the intermediate drive shaft with one of a newer design.
Notes: Owner notifiation began September 17, 1998.OWNERS who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact fleetwood at 1-800-322-8216.ALSO contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
