Summary: Vehicle description: travel trailers. Electrical wires were improperly installed and can be pinched between the water tank support cross member and the furnace plenum.
Consequence: This condition can cause an electrical short, increasing the risk of an electrical fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the electrical wiring and reroute the wires if necessary.
Notes: Owner notification began September 18, 1998.OWNERS who take their travel trailers to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact keystone at 1-219-534-7818.ALSO contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
