Summary: Vehicle description: motorcycles. Certain fuel pump/filter hoses and the fuel tank return hose can fail, resulting in a fuel leak.
Consequence: Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source can result in a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel lines between the fuel filter and the fuel pump as well as the fuel return line.
Notes: Owner notification began December 3, 1998.OWNERS who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact polaris/victory motorcycle at 1-612-417-8650.ALSO contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
