- Vehicle description: motorcycles. Oil can leak from between the crankcase halves.
- Consequence
- This can result in oil spillage forward of the rear tire and could, in some cases, cause vehicle instability.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the lower crankcase bolts.
- Notes
- Owner notification began April 19, 1999. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact ttriumph at 1-678-854-2010. Also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
