- Consequence
- This condition can lead to an out of roundness condition causing separation of the tire from the wheel.
- Remedy
- Tires will be removed from the wheel to identify the heat lot number and wheels with the affected lot number will be replaced.
- Notes
- Owner notification began may 14, 1999.OWNERS who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact peterbilt at 1-888-999-6310.ALSO contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
