- Summary
- Vehicle description: motorcycles. The fuel hose disconnects between fuel pump regulator and fuel tank outlet nozzle. The fuel pump and hose are located inside the fuel tank assembly.
- Consequence
- This condition could cause the engine to stop without warning affecting the handling of the motorcycle.
- Remedy
- Excelsior-henderson has gone out of business. The correction was to install a plastic safety tie to secure the fuel hose.
- Notes
- Owner notification began October 29, 1999.OWNERS who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact excelsior-henderson at 1-612-873-7000.
