Engine and engine cooling

Summary: On certain scooters with engine number (SF10K & SH10B) and embossed casting number (KEB7-1), the engine mount can break.
Consequence: If this breakage occurs, it could cause a rear suspension failure, which could result in a crash.
Remedy: Kymco will replace the entire engine. This recall began on July 22, 2004. Owners should contact kymco USA customer service toll free at 1-888-235-3417.
