Summary: Vehicle description: transit coaches. The steering arms on these vehicles are not being properly maintained at recommended inspection and maintenance intervals.
Consequence: These steering arms could fail due to poor inspection and maintenance procedures.
Remedy: Due to the age of these vehicles, mci is not obligated to offer reimbursement for the repair. However, a special kit has been developed for the owners to use which consists of a replacement steering arm, key, nut, cotter pin, and installation instructions.
