- Vehicle description: motorcycles. The side stand assembly can become loose and detach from the motorcycle.
- Consequence
- The side stand could fall off the motorcycle causing the motorcycle to fall over, increasing the risk of personal injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will re-torque the 2 side stand mounting bolts.
- Notes
- Owner notification began June 15, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact triumph 1-678-854-2010. Also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
