- Summary
- On certain trucks, the brake cam tubes on the steer and drive axles may not have been greased.
- Consequence
- The brake cam journals may corrode which may lead to the brakes dragging which could result in a vehicle fire.
- Remedy
- Dealers will add grease to the brake cam tubes free of charge. The recall began on September 29, 2006. Owners may contact mack at 1-800-866-1177.
