- Summary
- On certain trucks, the nut that retains the steering wheel may not have been installed.
- Consequence
- If the retaining nut was not installed, the steering wheel may come off, which could result in a vehicle crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will remove the horn button to confirm that the retaining nut was installed. A retaining nut will be added if the nut is missing. The recall began on February 12, 2007. Owners may contact mack trucks at 800-866-1177.
