Summary: The sleeper compartment inside door latching mechanisms may cause the door to unlatch while the vehicle is being driven.
Remedy: The operating lever and connecting rods will be replaced and a spring will be installed on the connecting rod.
Notes: Vehicle description: trucks; cab behind engine, equipped with separate sleepercompartment.system: structure; sleeper compartment side doors.consequences of defect: if a passenger is in the sleeper, he/she could beejected if the door opens, resulting in personal injury.
