Summary: Vehicle description: transit buses equipped with an auxiliary diesel powered heater (proheat bravo model 80). An improperly assembled fuel regulator can allow an excess amount of fuel into the combustion chamber.
Consequence: This leakage can lead to a potential for flames to escape from the heater exhaust.
Remedy: Teleflex canada, the manufacturer of the heater, will inspect and, if necessary, replace all defective regulators.
Notes: Owner notification began June 16, 1998.ALL owners have been contacted and their vehicles repaired.no further action is necessary on this recall.
