Summary: Roush performance products, Inc. Is recalling 81 model year 2010 Ford mustangs manufactured between April 9, 2009, and July 15, 2009, and that were altered by roush to include a sport brake kit option. The caliper anchor plate mounting bolts may become loose or dislodged during operation.
Consequence: This failure may result in a loss of stopping performance, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.
Remedy: Roush will notify owners and repair the vehicles free of charge. The safety recall began on July 24, 2009. Owners may contact roush at 1-866-307-6788.
