Summary: On certain passenger vehicles built on the Ford mustang gt chassis, the anti-roll bar attachment bracket on the front strut can separate from the strut housing due to inconsistent welding.
Consequence: If the broken bracket contacts the tire, sidewall damage can occur, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install new struts free of charge. The recall began on September 18, 2006. Owners may contact roush at 1-866-307-6788.
