Fuel system, gasoline › Storage › Tank assembly

Summary: On certain vehicles, the welds on the fuel tank mounting brackets may fail. The fuel tank may slip and begin leaking fuel or it may separate entirely from the chassis.
Remedy: The dealer will disconnect the angle mounting brackets and add a strap mounting to the gasoline tank. Any leaking tanks will be replaced at no charge to owners.
