Structure

Summary: Vanguard National Trailer Corporation (Vanguard) is recalling all 2021-2023 VXP 28-Foot Pup trailers. The pintle hook box assembly may crack or break, reducing the trailer's stability while being towed.
Consequence: Trailer instability can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Vanguard will inspect and repair the pintle hook box assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 23, 2025. Owners may contact Vanguard customer service at 1-888-253-3008.
