Summary: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 G5 transit buses built on a GM chassis and equipped with a second air conditioning compressor kit. The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines.
Consequence: A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Remedy: Dealers will secure the oil lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-121-OUC.

Summary: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2002-2015 MB II, 2008-2026 G5, and 2015-2026 T-Series transit buses. An installation error may prevent the wheelchair tie-downs from locking, leaving the wheelchair improperly secured.
Consequence: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Summary: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2023, 2025 T-Series and 2022-2026 G5 transit buses. The power cable providing electricity to the air conditioning control board may have a loose connection to the power stud on the board.
Consequence: A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Summary: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2024-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Consequence: An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Summary: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 T- Series, G5, and 2024-2025 MBII school buses equipped with a power-assisted service door. The rod-eye rings attaching the front and rear door panels to the opening gear may delaminate, preventing the door from being controlled by the driver.
Consequence: The door panel may remain in the open position or open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of passenger being injured falling out of the bus.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the service door mechanism for signs of rod-eye ring delamination and repair the mechanism as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2025. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-116-RUS.
