Summary: On certain fifth wheel travel trailers equipped with optional extended hitch pin boxes, cracking can occur in the box area of the hitch pin.
Consequence: A complete failure could result in the trailer separating from the tow vehicle which could result in a crash.
Remedy: All six owners have been contacted by nuwa. Owner notification began on October 9, 2003.
