In the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat.

- Summary
- Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2010-2023 H3-45, H3-45 VIP, X3-45, X3-45 Com, and X3-45 VIP vehicles. In the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat.
- Consequence
- An overheated alternator bearing can increase the risk of a fire.
- Remedy
- Prevost will replace the alternator belt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 30, 2022. Owners may contact Prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046.
