Electronic stability control (ESC)

Summary: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. Contact with the drive line yoke may damage the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) unit.
Consequence: A damaged ESC unit may malfunction, disabling the electronic stability control and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Autocar will relocate the ESC unit, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were be mailed March 27, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated October 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2601.

Consequence: A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Summary: Autocar, LLC. (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023 ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles, equipped with Cummins L9 diesel engines. The remote Stage 2 fuel filter hoses may have been damaged during production, allowing the hoses to leak or disconnect.
Consequence: A disconnected hose will result in an engine stall increasing the risk of a crash. Also, a fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
