Summary: The hex nut which secures the drive chain sprocket to the transmission output shaft may become loose.
Consequence: Continued use of the motorcycle may cause the nut andsprocket to fall off resulting in loss of vehicle control and an accident.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the nut and washer as a set with a new nut and redesigned washer.
